Okay, so I’ve been trying to nail down the Miami Hurricanes’ starting roster for the upcoming season. It’s trickier than you’d think! Here’s how I went about it, and what I’ve pieced together so far.

Digging Through the Rubble (aka News Articles)
First, I hit up all the usual sports news sites. I’m talking about the big ones, the local Miami papers, and even some fan forums. Gotta get all perspectives, right?
I read a ton of articles, pre-season previews, and post-practice reports. It’s amazing how much info is out there, but it’s also a lot to sift through.
Spotting the Patterns and the Sure Things
After reading all that stuff, I started to see some names popping up over and over. Those are the guys you can pretty much lock in. For example, the quarterback situation is always a big deal, and it became clear that the first one is a popular one.
The Guessing Game (aka Positions Still Up for Grabs)
This is where it gets tough. There are always a few positions where it’s a real battle. I found that sometimes one player got the starting job in the team’s first scrimmage, but their position may be replaced by another player, so that’s not a clear point.
I scoured fan forums and Twitter. I saw one person got good at it.

- I tried to find any tiny clues about who might have the edge.
- I focused on the “position battles” that coaches were talking about in interviews.
Putting It All Together (My Current Best Guess)
Based on everything I’ve gathered, I did get * I changed my mind a few times, and I’ll probably change it again before the season starts. It’s a moving target!
It’s definitely a puzzle, and it’s fun to try and figure it out. I’ll keep digging and updating as we get closer to the season! Go Canes!
