Man, what a week! I decided to dig into something that’s been blowing up all over the internet: Caleb Williams and his girl, Dayna Price. You know, the number one NFL draft pick? Yeah, that guy. I started off by trying to find out when these two actually started dating. Turns out, they’ve been official since around October 2023, right when Williams was finishing up at USC. But get this, they were a thing way back in high school at Gonzaga College High School. Who knew?
So, I tracked down this video from MLFootball, posted on April 26. It shows Williams arriving at the NFL draft with Dayna and his mom. Talk about making an entrance! They looked like they were having a blast, posing on the red carpet and all that. Later, I found out they were chilling in the green room in Detroit, just playing cards like it was any other day. Casual, right?
Diving deeper, I tried to gather some background on Dayna. Seems like she’s from Maryland. And on Caleb? Well, aside from being a Heisman winner and a former Washington D.C. Gatorade Player of the Year, I discovered his parents, Carl and Dayna, were both into sports. His dad even played college football at Oklahoma State. No wonder the kid’s got skills.
I also got a bit sidetracked and looked up another Williams – Shanita Dixon and Juan Williams son, who apparently has four brothers and four sisters. His dad was a tight end for Pitt during the ’97-’98 seasons. Not sure how that really ties in, but hey, interesting family dynamics, right?
