Alright, so you wanna know about this wrestling thing, the SmackDown in Detroit, huh? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t rocket science, this stuff, just a bunch of fellas and gals smackin’ each other around, but folks seem to like it.
So, this SmackDown, it’s a wrestling show, see? Happens every Friday night on the TV. They say it’s live, which means it’s happenin’ right then and there, not like them old movies they show sometimes. This one special one, it was in Detroit, that big city, you know? Happened on April 12th, 2024. I heard tell folks were real excited about it.
What happened at the show, you ask? Well, hold your horses, I’m gettin’ to it. They had this Randy Orton fella, he’s a big deal, I guess. And this LA Knight guy, and another one named AJ Styles. They all wrestled each other, a “Triple Threat” they called it. That just means three guys fightin’ at once, nothin’ too fancy. This match, it was to see who’d be the number one contender, whatever that means. Sounds important, though.
Now, I ain’t no expert on all these wrestlers. There’s so many of ’em, comin’ and goin’ faster than chickens in the yard when a dog shows up. But I heard folks talkin’ about this SmackDown in Detroit. They were sayin’ it was a good one, lots of action, lots of yelling. You know how them wrestling fans get, all riled up.
- Randy Orton – Big fella, lots of muscles. Seems like he’s been around forever.
- LA Knight – Don’t know much ’bout him, but he’s got a fancy name, that’s for sure.
- AJ Styles – This one, he jumps around a lot. Kinda flashy.
They said the tickets were sellin’ fast, too. Folks really wanted to see these fellas beat each other up. I don’t get it myself, but hey, to each their own, right? If they wanna spend their money on that, it ain’t none of my business.
Now, they also have these other shows, all through the year. They even got some plannin’ for December 2024 and January 2025. And wouldn’t you know it, they’re comin’ back to Detroit on December 6th! Must be a popular place for wrestlin’, that Detroit. I reckon them city folk like a good fight just as much as us country folk do, just a different kind, I suppose.
Where can you watch this SmackDown? Well, they say it’s on TV every Friday night at 8 PM Eastern Time. That’s if you’re in the States, places like Alaska and Hawaii too. If you ain’t there, well, I reckon you gotta figure that out yourself. Maybe they got it on that internet thing, the one my grandson’s always talkin’ about.
Anyways, that’s about all I know about this Detroit SmackDown thing. It was a wrestlin’ show, some fellas fought, folks got excited. Just another Friday night, I guess. Me? I’d rather be home with a cup of tea and a good book, but that’s just me. You young folks, you like your excitement, I understand.
So there ya have it. Don’t go expectin’ no fancy talk from me, I just tell it like it is. If you wanna know more, maybe go ask someone who knows more about this wrestlin’ stuff than an old lady like me. But for now, that’s the story as best as I can tell it.
