Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Dustin Poirier floral shirt” thing popping up all over my social media feeds. I’m a big fan of Dustin, and, well, I kinda liked the shirt. So, I decided to try and find it, or something similar, and maybe even put my own spin on it. Here’s how that whole adventure went.
The Hunt Begins
First, I started with a simple search. I just typed in “Dustin Poirier floral shirt” and hit enter. I got a bunch of results, mostly news articles and some images, but nothing really concrete in terms of where to actually buy the thing. The search results were all about him and his style.
Digging Deeper
I realized I needed to be more specific. I tried adding words like “buy,” “shop,” or “replica” to my search. This helped a little, but I was still mostly getting links to general MMA apparel sites, nothing with that specific shirt, this became frustraiting.
I spent a good hour just scrolling through images, hoping to find a link or a brand * luck.
Getting Creative (and Failing)
At this point, I figured, “Okay, maybe I can’t find the exact shirt, but I can probably find something similar.” I started looking for “men’s floral shirts” in general. There are a TON of options out there, everything from subtle patterns to super loud, bright stuff. I tried a few different online stores, browsing their selections. I even looked at some custom shirt design sites, thinking I might just make my own. I also looked in vintage shop.
The Realization (and Acceptance)
After a few hours of this, I came to a sad conclusion: I probably wasn’t going to find the exact Dustin Poirier shirt, at least not easily. It might be a custom piece, or something from a small brand that’s hard to track down, after all it was not something to be buy.
But you know what? That’s okay. I actually found a few floral shirts that I really liked during my search. They weren’t the shirt, but they were cool in their own way. And honestly, that’s kind of the point of style, right? It’s about finding what you like and making it your own.
I may not wear Dustin’s exact shirt, but I found that I like a lot the floral style.
