I’ve been digging into FC 24 lately, specifically on the Ultimate Team side of things. Man, it’s a grind, but a fun one! Today, I really wanted to get a good look at all the icons available. You know, those legendary players from the past that you can add to your squad. So, I started my little project: documenting every single icon in FC 24.
First off, I fired up the game and started browsing through the menus. I noticed right away that there are a ton of icons this year, way more than I expected. I’m talking over a hundred of these bad boys! It’s actually kinda overwhelming when you first see it.
I grabbed my notebook and started jotting down names. Of course, you’ve got the big ones that everyone knows: Garrincha, Muller, Maldini, Puskas, Hamm, Cruyff, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Zidane, and Pele. These guys are just insane in the game, with crazy stats and skills. Each of them has these special “PlayStyles” that make them feel unique and super powerful on the pitch.
But it wasn’t just about the big names. I wanted the full list, the whole shebang. There are eight new “Base Icons” added this year. That’s pretty cool, adding fresh blood to the icon pool. Plus, when you throw in the new “Heroes” like John Arne Riise and Alex Scott, you’ve got over 20 new past players to choose from. Gotta love the variety.
I spent a good chunk of time going through each player, writing down their names, positions, and ratings. It’s a bit tedious, but I wanted to be thorough. My list started getting pretty long, and my hand started cramping up, not gonna lie! But hey, I was committed to my task.
I also found that you can get these icons through UT packs, but only during certain times, which is a bummer. It makes it feel like a bit of a lottery, but I guess that’s part of the thrill, right? I also stumbled upon something called an “EA Tax Calculator.” Apparently, there’s a 5% tax on every sale in the game. News to me!
I also found some information about different types of player cards, with unique designs and colors, but I was mostly focused on the icon cards today.
- New Base Icons: There are 8 new ones, and they’re pretty sweet.
- Total Icons: Over 100! That’s a massive roster of legends.
- Getting Icons: You can get them in packs, but it’s not guaranteed and only during specific periods.
- EA Tax: There’s a 5% tax on sales, which is kinda wild.
- Top Tier: Garrincha, Muller, Maldini, etc. These guys are game-changers.
Anyway, after hours of digging and scribbling, I finally had it – a complete list of every icon in FC 24. It was a lot of work, but I’m glad I did it. Now I’ve got this awesome resource to refer to whenever I’m building my squad. Plus, it’s just cool to see all those legendary names in one place.
