Okay, so I’ve been seeing these golf bracelets for men popping up all over my social media feeds. I’m not a huge golfer, but I like the style, and I figured, why not try making one myself? It seemed like a fun little project.

First, I gathered my materials. I didn’t want to spend a ton, so I just grabbed some stuff from the local craft store:
- Some strong, but thin, cord. I went with a dark brown, leather-like one.
- A few silver beads. Nothing fancy, just some simple round ones.
- A clasp. I chose a simple magnetic one because I’m terrible at tying knots.
- Scissors. Gotta cut the cord, obviously.
- A lighter. To seal the ends of the cord after cutting.
Next, I measured my wrist. I just wrapped the cord around loosely, adding a bit extra for the beads and clasp. Better to have too much than too little, right?
Then I cut the cord. I made sure to cut it a little longer than I thought I needed, just in case. I singed the ends with the lighter, too. They melted just a little, which will (hopefully) prevent the cord from fraying.
After that, the fun part: adding the beads! I just slid them onto the cord. I didn’t really follow a pattern, just put them on in a way that looked good to me.
Finally, I attached the clasp. This was the trickiest part. With magnetic clasp, I glues one half to each end of the cord. I had to hold it for a while to make sure it dried properly.

The Finished Product
And… that’s it! I have a new golf bracelet. It’s not perfect, but I made it, and that’s pretty cool. It took me, like, maybe 30 minutes total, and cost less than buying one online. Plus, I can say I made it myself. Total win!
