Okay, so I stumbled upon this “Animal Well” game, and let me tell you, the giant clock puzzle had me scratching my head. I’m not the best at puzzles, but I was determined to figure this one out. Here’s how my whole adventure with this clock went down.

First, I found the clock room. It’s this massive space with, you guessed it, a HUGE clock in the center. The hands weren’t moving, and there were these weird symbols all around. I knew this was going to be a doozy.
I spent a good chunk of time just exploring the area. I mean, I poked around every nook and cranny, looking for clues. I found a few items that seemed important, like these crank-like things, but I had no idea how they fit into the puzzle.
Trial and Error (Lots of It)
Next, I started experimenting. I tried placing those crank things in different slots, turning them, pushing them, you name it. Mostly, nothing happened. A few times, I managed to get a small part of the clock to move, but it felt like I was just getting lucky.
- Placed cranks randomly.
- Turned cranks without a clear plan.
- Got frustrated.
- Repeated the process.
Seriously, there were moments where I just wanted to give up. It felt like I was missing something obvious. Then, a buddy of mine, gave me hint. And I suddenly noticed something about the symbols on the clock face.
The “Aha!” Moment
It turned out the symbols were actually showing the correct position for placing other tools! I started paying closer attention to the positions of the small hand and big hand. I mean, it sounds stupid now, but it took me a while to connect the dots. The room that connected with the clock room would also change the statues on the clock when changed, so that was also a factor.

Finally, Success!
After I figured out how to set up the clock room, I went back to the clock and started experimenting again. It was still tricky. I had to go back and forth a few times, making small adjustments. But finally, after what felt like forever, I heard this satisfying click.
The clock hands started moving! It was such a relief. I honestly felt like a genius, even though it probably took me way longer than it should have. And with that, I moved a step closer to finishing the game!
