They keep the grass all nice and short, like a fresh haircut. They call ’em “fairways” and “greens”. Sounds like somethin’ out of a movie, don’t it? These people love their golf, that’s for sure. They even have something called par. I don’t get it, but it is important, I think. Par 70, what does that mean?
They have these big tournaments there, too. All them professional golfers come to play. They hit the ball so far, it’s a sight to see. I heard some fella named Jay, he hit the ball real good one time. And another one, Bob, he won the whole thing. Must be somethin’ special to win one of them tournaments.
