Got myself the Deluxe Edition of that college football game everyone’s been talking about. I mean, who wouldn’t want to dive into a game with such hype, right?
First off, I pre-ordered it. Why? Because it came with a three-day early access. Yeah, you heard that right, I got to play it before most people. Plus, they threw in 4600 College Football Points. Not sure what I’m gonna do with all those points yet, but hey, it’s something.
Getting Started
So, the day finally came. I booted up my console, and there it was, the game I’d been waiting for. Redeemed my code—pretty standard stuff—and logged in. The whole process was smooth, no hiccups there.
Gameplay and Features
Once in, I started exploring. The game boasts about having 134 FBS schools. That’s a lot of teams! The gameplay is something else, seriously. It’s explosive and varied, just like they said it would be. I spent hours just messing around with different teams and plays. The atmosphere in the game, especially in those big stadiums, feels incredibly real. It’s like you’re actually there, in the middle of all the action.
Deluxe Edition Perks
Now, about those Deluxe Edition goodies. Aside from the early access and the points, I also got an Alma Mater Ultimate Team Pack and a Cover Athlete Ultimate Team Pack. Don’t forget the “Bring Glory Home” Ultimate Team Uniform Item. These packs added some cool stuff to my team. I haven’t really dug deep into these yet, but it feels good to have them. I found out that I can buy YouTube tv and ESPN + combo to get more coverage, and the price is reasonable, but I want to play first.
My Thoughts So Far
- Early Access: Totally worth it. Playing before the official release date made me feel like a VIP.
- Gameplay: It’s a blast. The variety and the immersive environments are top-notch.
- Deluxe Content: The extra points and packs are a nice touch. They add value, especially if you’re into building up your ultimate team.
Honestly, the game is living up to the hype so far. It’s been a while since I was this excited about a sports game. If you’re on the fence about getting the Deluxe Edition, I’d say go for it. The early access alone is worth the extra cash, and the added bonuses are just icing on the cake.
I’ll keep playing and see how things go. Maybe I’ll update you guys later on what I end up doing with those 4600 points. Until then, happy gaming!
