Alright, so I wanted to put together a solid depth chart for the Hawaii football team. You know, just to get a better handle on who’s who and what the team’s looking like this season. Here’s how I went about it.
First off, I started digging around for any info I could find on the players. I mean, the whole point is to figure out who’s likely to be starting, who’s backing them up, and all that jazz. So, I hit up the usual spots – the official team website, some sports news sites, and even some fan forums to see what the buzz was.
Then, I started organizing all that info into a rough list. I broke it down by position, naturally. Got my quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, the whole offense. Then, I did the same for the defense – defensive linemen, linebackers, and those guys in the secondary. It was a bit of a mess at first, but it started to take shape.
After that, I tried to make sense of it all. Who’s been performing well in practice? Who’s got the experience? Any new transfers that might shake things up? I tried to consider all that stuff to figure out who’s likely to be the main guy at each position and who’s gonna be their backup.
Here’s what I ended up with:
-
Offense:
- Quarterback: Brayden Schager is the main guy, and then there is a transfer from Vanderbilt, you know that guy, he is the backup, I forgot his name.
- Running Back: Dedrick Parson, Nasjzae Bryant-Lelei, there are other two I think.
- Wide Receiver: Jalen Walthall, Steven McBride, Koali Nishigaya, yeah, those guys I guess.
- Tight End: Greyson Murphy, this new guy is pretty good too, what is his name?
- Offensive line: There are many players, I don’t remember these names.
-
Defense:
- Defensive Line: Not too sure, too many new guys, I think it’s Ezra Evaimalo, Fo’i Shaw, John Tuitupou, and Kuao Peihopa.
- Linebacker: Isaiah Tufaga, Jalen Smith, Noah Kema, and Logan Taylor.
- Secondary: Cam Stone, Virdel Edwards II, Meki Pei, Matagi Thompson, and Peter Manuma.
So, yeah, that’s my attempt at putting together a Hawaii football depth chart. It’s definitely not perfect, and things could change once the season gets going. But it’s a starting point, and it gives us a decent idea of what to expect from the team this year. Hope you found this breakdown helpful! Oh, and I probably made some mistakes here and there – just trying to keep it real, you know?
