Alright, let’s talk about this “Redmane Freyja” quest I tackled in that Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Man, this one was a doozy. I started out just exploring, you know, taking in the sights of the Gravesite Plains. That’s where I first ran into Freyja. She was just chilling with another dude named Hornsent. They seemed pretty chill, but little did I know what I was getting myself into.
First off, I had to do some legwork across the Gravesite Plains. You know how these games are, always sending you on errands. But it’s cool, I like exploring. It’s part of the fun, right? Anyway, Freyja’s quest eventually led me to this place called the Shadow Keep. Creepy name, creepy place. Let me tell you, it was not a walk in the park. I had to fight my way through a bunch of tough enemies. But I powered through, I’m not one to back down from a challenge.
Freyja Herself
Then came the real test – facing Freyja herself in battle. This chick is no joke. She’s fast, man, really fast. She kept coming at me with these quick attacks, almost didn’t give me a chance to breathe. But she leaves herself wide open. And I took my sweet time and wait for the chance.
- Speedy Gonzales: She’s quick on her feet, always moving.
- Open Season: But, those fast attacks leave her vulnerable.
Hornsent, the Sidekick
And then there’s Hornsent, her buddy. This guy, he’s a different story. He’s tough, but in a different way.
- Poise? What Poise?: You can stagger this dude pretty easily.
Oh, and there was this whole thing with Ansbach and a scroll I found at Shadow Keep. If you give him the scroll, it changes things up a bit. I did find the scroll but, I decided to keep it. I mean who give the important thing to just a random NPC, right? This is the Elden Ring that I am talking about.
In the end, depending on how you play it, you can get this awesome Golden Lion thing. I managed to snag it, and let me tell you, it’s pretty sweet. Worth all the trouble, I’d say.
So yeah, that’s my story of the Redmane Freyja quest. It was a wild ride, full of tough battles and interesting choices. If you’re playing the DLC, definitely check it out. Just be ready for a challenge!
