Okay, so, I was messing around with Infinite Craft the other day, trying to see what kind of crazy combinations I could come up with. And you know what I wanted to make? A basketball. Sounds simple, right? But trust me, it took some doing.
I started with the basics, you know, Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. Mixing and matching those to see what would pop up. Made some Dust, got a Volcano going, even stumbled upon some Life along the way. Felt like a real alchemist, I did.
But none of that was getting me closer to a basketball. I had to think outside the box, or in this case, outside the basic elements. I remembered I had made some Plants earlier, and those plants eventually led me to Rubber. That’s when it hit me – basketballs are made of rubber! Progress!
So, I kept combining stuff, trying to get from Rubber to Basketball. It was a journey, I tell you. I made a Tire at some point, which felt related, but still not quite what I needed. Eventually, I got to Ball. We were in the endgame now!
- Start with the basics: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water
- Make some Plants, then Rubber
- Keep combining until you get to Ball
All that was left was to combine Ball with something else to finally get Basketball. Now, this is where it gets a bit tricky. I tried a bunch of different things, but what worked in the end was combining it with more general things. In this case, it was sports. But how do you make sports? Turns out you need two things, you need players and the field itself. Players can be made by combining time and humans, and the field can be made from soil. But it is way easier to combine the ball with the Human itself, I just didn’t know that at the time. It took me a while, but I finally did it! My very own digital basketball. I felt like I needed to make a video and share it, like, “Watch. Explore. Shop.” or something, but I never got around to do it. It’s like when you want to do something fun because of the season, like making snow when it’s December.
And that’s how you make a basketball in Infinite Craft. It’s not as straightforward as you might think, but that’s part of the fun, right? Figuring out all the steps and combinations. I don’t even know when someone is going to update the game. Maybe tomorrow, maybe never. And as always, there are probably a bunch of other ways to do it, too. But that’s the beauty of this game. It’s all about experimenting and finding your own way. So next time you’re playing, give it a try. And who knows what else you might discover along the way!
