Okay, so I wanted to get a list of all the Irish Golf Open winners. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it turned out to be a bit of a journey, so I figured I’d share my little adventure.
Step 1: The Obvious – Google It!
First things first, I fired up Google. I mean, that’s what everyone does, right? I typed in “Irish Golf Open winners” and hit enter. I got a bunch of results, some news articles, some betting sites, and, of course, Wikipedia.
Step 2: Wikipedia to the Rescue?
Wikipedia usually has pretty solid info, so I clicked on that link. I found a page dedicated to the Irish Open, and sure enough, there was a table of winners. Scrolling down, I saw names, dates, and even the winning scores. Perfect! Or so I thought.
Step 3: Realizing it is not all
Then I want detail information,I clicked on other links.I found a website dedicated to the Irish Open, and sure enough.I found a page dedicated to the Irish Open, and sure enough, there was a table of winners!
Step 4: Copy and save to my computer
After that, I started copying the data from the website. I used a program, I copy all the text, and saved it to my computer.I got all the data !
So, that’s how I went about getting my list of Irish Golf Open * took me a bit work, but it work!
