Okay, so I decided to dive into the Camelot’s Tournament event in Monopoly Go the other day. Been seeing it pop up, figured I’d give it a proper go.

Starting Out
First thing I did was open up the game, checked the side panel where the events usually are. Saw the tournament icon, tapped on it to see what the deal was. Looked like the main way to score points was landing on the Railroad tiles, same old, same old for these types of tournaments. Fine by me, I know the drill.
Getting Into the Game
So, I started rolling the dice. Just used the standard multiplier at first, wanted to get a feel for the board and see how often I was hitting anything useful. Landed on a Chance tile pretty early, got sent straight to Jail. Typical start, right? Had to roll doubles or pay up to get out.
My main goal was hitting those Railroads. Every time I landed on one, I got points for the tournament. If it was someone else’s property and I shut down their landmark, even better, more points. Same with Bank Heists, those gave a nice point boost too.
The Grind and Strategy (Sort Of)
It really just became a cycle of rolling, hoping for Railroads, and occasionally upgrading my landmarks when I had enough cash. I ran out of dice pretty quickly, which is always the frustrating part. Had to wait for them to refill or hope for some free dice links (though we aren’t supposed to talk about those here!).
I did try a little tactic. Sometimes I’d save up my dice rolls. If I saw I was maybe 6 or 8 spaces away from a Railroad, I’d bump up the multiplier, hoping to land right on it. It was a gamble, really. Sometimes it paid off big time, shooting me up the leaderboard. Other times, I’d overshoot or undershoot and waste a bunch of dice with the high multiplier. You win some, you lose some.

- Rolled the dice continuously.
- Focused on hitting Railroad tiles.
- Did Shutdowns and Bank Heists when possible.
- Upgraded landmarks with earned cash.
- Managed my dice count, sometimes using higher multipliers near targets.
Hitting Milestones and Getting Stuff
As I got points, I started hitting the reward milestones for the tournament. It’s always nice seeing those pop up. Got some much-needed dice rolls back, some in-game cash, and I think a sticker pack or two along the way. Collecting those stickers is a whole other game, isn’t it?
Wrapping Up My Playthrough
I played on and off throughout the day whenever I had some free time and dice. Checked the leaderboard now and then. Didn’t aim to be number one, that takes way too much time and dice, honestly. Just wanted to grab some rewards and have a bit of fun.
In the end, I finished somewhere decent, not top tier but not at the bottom either. Got enough rewards to make it feel worthwhile. It was a pretty standard Monopoly Go tournament experience – a bit of luck, a bit of grinding, and the usual chase for dice. Overall, it was an okay way to pass the time in the game. That was my run through the Camelot’s Tournament. Nothing groundbreaking, just rolling and hoping for the best!
