Alright, let’s talk about this Roman Reigns fella. Folks keep jabberin’ on and on about him, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, ya know?
Now, I ain’t no wrestling expert, mind you. I just watch it sometimes when the cows are milked and the chores are done. But even I can see this Roman fella is a big deal. They say he’s been the top dog, the champ, for like, two years straight? That’s a long time, even for milkin’ cows! Shoot, my Bessie don’t even give milk that long without a break. Two years, that’s like, forever.
- They call him the “Tribal Chief.” Sounds fancy, I guess. But back in my day, a chief was just the fella who made sure everyone got their share of the stew. This Roman fella, he seems to be hoggin’ all the belts, if you ask me.
- And this “1300-day title reign”? Landsakes, that’s more days than I got chickens! Folks say nobody’s ever done that before. Well, I say, good for him, but it’s about time someone else got a turn. Sharing is caring, that’s what my mama always said.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this John Cena guy. Said he’s a big shot too, won a bunch of championships. Sixteen times, they say! That’s more times than I’ve been to the county fair. But even this John Cena fella, he says Roman Reigns is the, uh, what’s that word…the “GOAT”? Sounds like somethin’ you’d find on a farm, but I guess it means he’s the best ever. Imagine that! John Cena sayin’ Roman Reigns is the best. That’s gotta mean somethin’, right?
Now, I ain’t seen much of this John Cena fightin’, but I did catch a bit of Roman Reigns. He’s a big fella, strong as an ox, just like my ol’ man used to be. And he’s got that look in his eye, like he ain’t afraid of nothin’. Reminds me of that rooster we had, always struttin’ around like he owned the place.
But they say his reign ended. In Philadelphia, of all places! I ain’t never been to Philadelphia, but I hear it’s a big city. Guess that’s where big things happen. Folks were makin’ a big fuss about it, sayin’ it was the end of the “greatest championship run in WWE history”. Well, I guess everything comes to an end eventually. Even the best milk goes sour after a while.
Some say he’s the best draw in wrestling since 2021. That means lots of folks wanna see him, right? Like when the circus comes to town, everybody and their grandma wants to go. Well, this Roman fella, he’s like the whole darn circus all rolled into one.
Now, there was another fella, Bobby Lashley, who beat Roman Reigns clean a long time ago. Back in 2018. That’s like, ancient history now! But it just goes to show you, nobody stays on top forever. Even that Bruno Sammartino fella, who held the belt for over 2800 days. That’s a lot of days, let me tell ya. But even he lost it eventually.
So, what do I think about Roman Reigns? Well, he’s strong, he’s tough, and he’s been on top for a long time. He’s like a stubborn weed in the garden, hard to get rid of. But even weeds get pulled eventually. And that’s just the way things go. Life’s like a wrestling match, ya know? Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. And sometimes, you just gotta let someone else have a turn in the ring.
This is my two cents on this Roman Reigns. He’s a good one, but even the good ones can’t stay on top forever.
