But this boy, he’s somethin’ else. He’s still out there runnin’ around, scorin’ goals like nobody’s business. They say he’s playin’ over in some desert country now, with a team called Al somethin’-or-other. Sounds fancy, but it’s probably just a buncha sand and hot air, if you ask me.

But the real question is, when’s he gonna hang up them cleats? Folks been whisperin’ and gossipin’ like crazy. Some say he’s gonna quit after this big Europe thingy, the Euro somethin’ or other. Others say he wants to play in another World Cup, that one that comes around every four years. Can you believe it? At his age! He’s like a stubborn mule, that one.

He Says He’ll Quit When He’s Not Feelin’ It No More That’s what he said, plain and simple. Said when he ain’t got the fire in his belly no more, he’ll call it quits. Sounds reasonable enough, I guess. But you know these fellas, they always say one thing and do another.
