So, the other day, I got curious about Jamal Murray’s wingspan. Can’t exactly remember why, maybe saw a highlight or something, but it popped into my head.

First thing I did, obviously, was grab my phone and just search for “Jamal Murray wingspan”. Simple enough, right?
Got a bunch of results back pretty quick. Some sites said one thing, some maybe slightly different, you know how it is. It wasn’t super clear right off the bat. I saw a number floating around, like 6 foot 6 and a half inches, but I wanted to see if that was, like, the official thing.
I figured the best place to check would be his draft combine measurements. That’s usually where they get the official numbers before guys even get into the league. So, I tweaked my search a bit, adding “draft combine” to it.
Took a little more digging through some sports stats sites and articles talking about the draft back when he came out. Found a few places confirming that 6′ 6.5″ measurement from the NBA Draft Combine back in 2016. His height was listed around 6′ 3″ without shoes back then, I think.
So, yeah, his wingspan is a bit longer than his height, which is pretty standard for NBA players, especially guards. Nothing too crazy long, but definitely not short either. It kind of makes sense when you watch him play, he uses his length well enough on both ends sometimes.

Anyway, that was my little journey into finding out Murray’s wingspan. Just started with a random thought and ended up confirming it through the draft combine stuff. Pretty straightforward, really.
