Okay, so I was digging around the internet, trying to figure out some wrestling family trees, you know, as one does. And I came across this question: “Is Jey Uso related to Jacob Fatu?” I was like, “Hmm, I’ve heard those names before, they sound familiar, let’s see.”

First, I started with Jey Uso. It is easy to know who he is, part of the famous Uso tag team, always raising their one finger in the air, you get it. The Usos, those guys are wrestling royalty. So that means they must has some strong, strong root.
Then I went to check out Jacob Fatu. I recognized the name, “The Samoan Werewolf,” rings a bell. He’s been making some serious noise, super powerful, and got that wild energy, right?
So, I started connecting the dots.
- Looked up Jey Uso’s family. Found out his dad is Rikishi. Easy peasy.
- Checked out Rikishi’s family. Turns out, he’s got a twin brother.
- Found out that twin brother’s name is Sam Fatu, also known as The Tonga Kid.
- Dug into Sam Fatu, and boom, there it is – he’s Jacob Fatu’s dad.
Here’s the basic roadmap I followed:
So, to spell it out clearly, my research journey ended with a big YES. Jey Uso and Jacob Fatu are related, and they’re cousins. Rikishi and Sam Fatu, their dads, they are twin brothers. And you know the Anoa’i family. It is huge. it includes wrestlers like Roman Reigns and The Rock.
I just think it’s so interesting to follow the family connections in the wrestling world, just like following the branches of a big, strong tree.
