So, I was digging around the internet today, trying to find some information on this basketball player, Hannah Stuelke. I’ve been following her for a while, and I’m always curious to learn more about the players I watch.
First, I launched my browser and typed “Joanna Stuelke Illinois State” into the search bar. The results popped up pretty quickly.
Turns out, Hannah’s mom, Joanna Stuelke Mantz, used to play basketball for Illinois State! How cool is that? It’s always interesting to see where athletes get their talent from. I spent some time reading through a couple of articles about her career.
- Found out that Joanna played at Illinois State and then Missouri Western. I guess she was pretty good if she played at two different colleges!
- Read that she’s 6’1″. That’s some serious height for a basketball player. No wonder Hannah’s so good on the court!
- Learned that Joanna used to be married to a guy named Mario Davis. Looks like they’re divorced now.
- Discovered that Hannah was actually raised by her mom and stepdad. And she calls her stepdad her father, so they must have a close relationship. Oh, and I read that both her mom and stepdad are white, while her biological dad lives in Antigua.
I was particularly interested to see that one person mentioned, “Tonight I’m arching some old footage, and what should I come across… but Hannah Stuelke’s mom, @JoMommaMantz. In 1996, she signed to play basketball at Illinois State!” This is amazing! They found some old footage of Joanna playing, which is fantastic.
It’s fascinating to me how much information you can find online. I started out just wanting to learn a bit more about a basketball player, and I ended up learning all about her mom’s basketball career and some family history, too.
This whole search made me realize how much of an impact parents can have on their kids’ athletic careers. It’s clear that Joanna’s love for basketball rubbed off on Hannah. I mean, she played for Illinois State and Missouri Western – that’s impressive!
Anyway, I just thought I’d share my little internet adventure with you all. It’s always fun to dive into these rabbit holes and see what you can uncover. I’m going to keep digging around for more info on Joanna and Hannah. Maybe I’ll even find some of that old footage of Joanna playing!
