This boy, Kyion Graves, let me tell you, I hear things, you know? Lots of folks talkin’ ’bout him. Sounds like he’s mixed up in some kind of game, some “League of Legends” thing. Now, I don’t know nothin’ ’bout these newfangled games, but back in my day, we played outside!
But this Kyion, seems like he’s good at it. They say he plays this game, goes by some other name in there, I reckon. And he plays with other folks, all over the place, I hear. They call it “Europe” but it could be down the street, or in the next town over, how am I supposed to know?
They got these things now, what do you call them… tournaments? Like when we used to have pie-eating contests at the county fair, but this is with that game. They say there’s even one for the girls now! Imagine that! Girls playin’ these games, when I was young, we was too busy with chores to be playin’ games on a screen.
This Kyion Graves, he’s probably good, maybe not, who’s to know? I heard some folks sayin’ he is, and some say he ain’t. But this “Rising Stars”, thats the name of that thing they do, is gonna happen. They said this weekend, but weekends are all the same to me now.
- Over 30 teams, they say. That’s a lot of folks playin’ that game!
- And they all from different parts of that “Europe” place.
- All tryin’ to win somethin’ or other.
Now, this other thing, this “Graves’ disease“, that ain’t got nothin’ to do with the boy, I don’t think. Sounds like some sickness. They say it messes with your thyroid. Now, I don’t know what a thyroid is, but it don’t sound good.
They say your body starts fightin’ itself, makes too much of somethin’. Like when you put too much sugar in your tea, it just ain’t right. This Kyion Graves, he don’t have that, I hope. He’s probably too busy playin’ that game. This disease thing, sounds awful.
I heard some famous person got it, I can’t recall who. But famous folks get sick just like us regular folks. It don’t matter how much money you got, or how many folks know your name, sickness can get anyone. Even that Kyion Graves, if he aint careful.
This “autoimmune” thing, that’s what they call it. Sounds complicated. Like them fancy cars they got now, all computerized. Back in my day, cars were simple. You could fix ’em yourself with a wrench and some elbow grease.
This Kyion Graves, I don’t know what he does besides that game. Maybe he helps his mama, I hope so. Kids these days, they spend too much time with their faces in them screens. We used to play outside, get some fresh air.
This “League of Legends”, I don’t know what it’s about, seems like a waste of time to me. But if Kyion Graves likes it. I guess it don’t matter what I think. They say they have lots of players, a big deal thing now.
Well, that’s all I know ’bout that Kyion Graves and that game, and that sickness. I gotta go tend to my garden. My tomatoes are comin’ in real nice this year. Better than anythin’ you can find in that “League of Legends” game, I guarantee it. That game sounds silly, real silly, but this Kyion Graves kid must like it. Lots of people like it, I guess.
This whole thing, with that Kyion Graves and that game, and that sickness that sounds like “Graves”, it’s all a bit much for me. I’m just gonna stick to my garden and my chickens. They don’t need no “tournaments” to be happy. This Kyion Graves, hope he is happy, that’s all that matters.
This game they play, they say it’s big, popular, lots of people like it. If that Kyion Graves is one of them, he is not alone. They say over 30 teams, that’s more people than in my whole town! All playin’ that game, all over that Europe place.
I still don’t understand, this Kyion Graves, what he does in that game. But I guess it don’t matter. If he likes it. I like my garden. He has his game. That’s how it is. This tournament thing, with that “Rising Stars”, seems like a big deal to them, I don’t know.
They say this Kyion Graves is just a boy. Boys play games. Used to be marbles or sticks, now it is this “League of Legends”. Times change, I guess. But that sickness, that “Graves’ disease“, that don’t sound like no game. Hope that boy, that Kyion Graves, stays healthy. That’s more important than any game.
