Okay, here is my experience sharing about “in favor of crossword”:
So, the other day I got this itch to do something different, you know, to shake things up a bit. I was just scrolling through my phone, same old, same old, and then I remembered those crossword puzzles my grandma used to love. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, how hard could it be, right?
First things first, I needed to find a decent crossword. I did a quick search online. I just typed “crossword puzzles online” into the search bar. And there were tons of options that popped up. I clicked on a few, but most of them were either too easy or just looked kind of boring. I wanted something that would actually challenge me a little, something in the medium difficulty range.
- I landed on this one site. It looked clean, not too cluttered with ads, and it had a “Daily Medium Crossword.” Perfect!
- I started filling in the boxes. Some clues were a breeze, like I knew the answers right away. Others, not so much.
- I spent a good hour on it, maybe a bit more. Kept coming back to the tricky ones, trying different combinations. There’s this feature where you can check your answers as you go, which is super helpful. Or you can just sort the answers by length.
- But I resisted the urge to cheat too much!
- There was one clue, something about a “type of atom,” that really stumped me. I googled it and finally got it.
Honestly, I had way more fun than I expected. It was satisfying to see the grid fill up, and it felt good to use my brain in a different way. Plus, I learned a few new words, which is always a bonus. I even found some crossword puzzles that I can print. So I can do it everywhere.
I think I’m going to make this a regular thing. It’s a nice little break from the usual routine, and it’s a good way to keep my mind sharp. And it reminds me of my grandma, which is a nice feeling. You guys should try it sometime. It might surprise you!
