I started clicking around, trying to figure out what was going on. Seems like there’s some video clip from a game against the Denver Broncos where you can hear Mahomes saying some stuff, and it got picked up by a microphone. Naturally, everyone’s dissecting every word he said, trying to figure out if he was really mad or what. They love to speculate. It’s like, can the guy not express himself without it becoming a national news story?
Then I found out there was also something about a handshake between him and Joe Burrow, another quarterback, after a game. The NFL released some footage of it, and people were trying to read into that too. Seriously, the level of scrutiny these guys are under is crazy. Every move, every word, every handshake is analyzed to death. I just want to know what is really happening.
