Alright, guys, so I wanted to figure out how to body slam in UFC 4. I’ve seen some crazy slams online and, frankly, I wanted to dish out some punishment myself. So, I jumped into the game and, well, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

My First Attempts (and Fails)
First, I just started mashing buttons. Yeah, that didn’t work. I ended up getting punched in the face… a lot. Then, I tried to just grab my opponent, thinking maybe there was some simple button combination. Nope. More face punching.
Figuring Out the Clinch
Okay, so random button mashing wasn’t cutting it. I realized I needed to get into a clinch first. You know, that grappling hug-of-war thing. I figured this out by kind of, accidentally, doing it a few times.I found it’s, pressing R1 and triangle on the PS controller. I guess on Xbox It is RB and Y? It is the same.
The Actual Body Slam!
Once you’re in that clinch, this is where it gets kinda tricky. I spent a good chunk of time just getting thrown around because I couldn’t figure out the next step. Finally, I got it.
- Get into the single underhook clinch.
- Hold L2 on ps controller or LT on Xbox.
- Then you flick up the right stick.
And BAM! Down they go. It felt so good to finally land that slam. It’s not super complicated, but it does take a bit of practice to get the timing and positioning right. You gotta be close enough, and you gotta be quick, or else they’ll just wiggle out or, worse, reverse it on you.
Practice Makes Perfect
I’m still not perfect at it, but I’m definitely getting better. I recommend going into practice mode and just drilling it until you get the hang of it. Trust me, it’s worth it when you see your opponent go flying through the air.

So there you have it! That’s my experience figuring out how to body slam in UFC 4. Go give it a try, and let me know how it goes!
