Okay, so, today I was digging around, trying to find some info on Anthony Smith’s wife. You know, the UFC fighter? Yeah, that guy. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it’d be, honestly.
First off, I hit up the usual spots – you know, the search engine, some social media pages. Nothing too helpful there. I got a lot of general stuff about him, his fights, and his career, but not much about his personal life or his wife. Kinda frustrating, you know?
Then, I tried to see if maybe there were some fan forums or something similar. I figured, maybe some die-hard fans would know more. I ended up on this one site that had a bunch of groups, kind of like a Meetup. It got my hopes up, I won’t lie. I saw groups for photography, outdoorsy stuff, even some creative DIY stuff. Thought, maybe, just maybe, there’d be a group dedicated to UFC, or even specifically to Anthony Smith. Nope, nothing like that. I even saw something called “Reign of Queens” and “Beautiful Brown Girls Brunch Club”, but still nothing about Anthony Smith’s wife. Bummer.
Next, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole, searching for anything related to online events or meetings. I found this thing about joining a meeting from an email invite. It was a long shot, but I was thinking, maybe there was some online fan event where they talked about this kind of thing? But it seemed like you needed an invite, and I definitely didn’t have one of those. Plus, I would need to contact the host of this event, which I had no idea who that was. Dead end.
After that, I stumbled upon something about monitoring users and called it RUM. Didn’t really seem related, but I was just clicking on anything at that point. That led me to some article about an Angular project, something about building a “Tour of Heroes.” I don’t know, it wasn’t what I was looking for.
Then I was skimming through some random stuff about Excel, and there was a bit about “formula auditing tools” and a “tracer.” No clue how that’s connected, but my search was getting pretty wild. I even found this Pinterest board about a certain “Hannah Storm” made by a “JESSE CARROLL”, thought it might be a hint, but nope. Just pictures of some woman named Hannah. Total distraction.
I even looked at some advice on how to handle quitting a job after one week. No idea how that popped up, but it was about some contract position doing web development. Completely unrelated, but hey, I was desperate.
Then came something about “database migration” and “moving data.” Honestly, I was just grasping at straws by then.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure today. Didn’t really find what I was looking for, but I definitely went down some weird paths. Just goes to show, sometimes the internet doesn’t have all the answers, especially when you are looking for info about a fighter’s wife. What a day!
