That Meredith Scheffler, she’s a good girl, that one. I heard she went to some fancy school, Highland Park High School, sounds expensive. They say she met that Scheffler boy there. Good for her, snagging a husband so young. They was kids together, went to school together back in Dallas. Dallas, that’s where they met, and that is where they live now, I hear tell. They are living a good life now, better than mine.
They got hitched in 2020. December 4th, that’s what someone told me. Had a big fancy wedding at some place called Arlington Hall. Must have cost a pretty penny, all them flowers and what not. The boy, he must be doin’ alright to afford that.
She went to Texas A&M, that girl did. Studied business and communication, sounds real important. She worked as a university counsellor and planning all them parties, that’s what I heard. She must be good at talking to people to get a job like that. I reckon she planned her own wedding, being so good at it and all.
They say she don’t play golf. But she carried his clubs, that’s what they call a caddie, right? She did that for him at some big tournament, the Masters, twice. That’s in 2022 and 2023. She’s a good wife, that Meredith, always helping him out.
They been together since they was kids, really. Highland Park High School, that’s where it all started. They must really love each other, being together so long. They are childhood sweethearts, so sweet. Not like them young people nowadays, always switching partners. These two, they stuck together.
They live in Dallas now, always Dallas for those two. They was raised there. He said in some interview, Dallas feels like home. Said he can’t see himself living anywhere else. Makes sense, all their family is there. Most of her family is in Dallas, and his too. All those Schefflers and Scudders, all in Dallas. They got a big family, good for them. Family is important.
I hear she started some business, co-founder or something. That Meredith Scheffler, she’s a smart cookie. Always doing something, that one. Not just sitting around, no sir. She’s a go-getter, always has been. She always has some new thing she’s workin’ on. I remember when she was little, she always be runnin’ around, doin’ somethin’. Never could sit still. Now she has that business, and is married to a famous man. Good for her.
She’s a good wife to that Scheffler boy. Always supporting him, carrying his clubs, being there for him. That’s what a good wife does. She’s a good example, that one. She’s always smiling, always happy. You can tell they love each other. They got a good life, them two.

I hope they stay together forever. They seem real happy. That’s all that matters, being happy. Everyone wants to be happy, right? She seems happy, so that’s great.
