Okay, so I wanted to get in on this whole St. Paddy’s Day Monopoly GO! thing. I’d seen some buzz about it online, and, well, I’m a sucker for limited-time events in games. So, I fired up the app on my phone.

First thing I did was just check out the main board. You know, the regular Monopoly board. Nothing special there. Then I looked around for any obvious signs of the event. I poked around the shop – nothing. Checked my notifications – nope.
Then I saw it. A little banner popped up, advertising the St. Paddy’s Day Party. I tapped on that bad boy, and it took me to… a whole new board! It was all decked out in green, with shamrocks and leprechaun hats everywhere. Pretty cool, actually.
Getting Started
So, the goal, as far as I could tell, was to land on these special event tiles. They were marked with little pots of gold. Each time you landed on one, you’d get some points. Seemed simple enough.
I started rolling, just like normal. Using my regular dice. I landed on a few of the event tiles, racking up some points. But it felt a little… slow. I wanted to speed things up.
Using the Multiplier
That’s when I remembered the multiplier. You know, that thing that lets you bet more dice to potentially win more rewards? Yeah, I cranked that thing up. I figured, go big or go home, right?

With the multiplier activated, things got interesting. I was landing on those pot of gold tiles more often, and the points were really piling up. It felt much more rewarding, even though I was burning through my dice faster.
Collecting Rewards
As I collected points, I started noticing these little milestones popping up. Like, “Collect 500 points, get a reward!” Stuff like that. And the rewards were pretty decent – extra dice, money, even some special tokens.
I kept rolling, kept landing on those event tiles, kept claiming those rewards. It was actually pretty addictive! I played for a good hour, just going around and around the board. My dice stash took a hit, but I managed to complete a few of those milestone goals.
My Final Thoughts:
- It’s fun: Themed board are always a plus.
- Use Multiplier: Go big.
- It’s a grind: I was running low on dice.
In the end, I didn’t “finish” the whole event. I’m sure there were bigger rewards further down the line, but I ran out of dice and didn’t feel like spending real money to buy more. But I still had a good time. It was a fun little distraction, and I got some decent rewards out of it. If you like Monopoly GO!, I’d say give it a shot!
