Okay, so today I wanted to dig into the stats for the Washington Nationals vs. Cleveland Guardians game. I’m a huge baseball fan, and I love seeing how players perform against each other. It’s always a fun little project to track these things.

Getting Started
First, I needed to find a good source for the game data. There are a bunch of websites out there, but I wanted something reliable and up-to-date. I bounced around a few different sports sites, looking for one that had a clean layout and all the stats I cared about.
Gathering the Data
Once I found a site I liked, I started pulling the player stats. Basically, I went through the box score and jotted down the key numbers. Things like batting average, RBIs, home runs, strikeouts – you know, the usual stuff. I did this for both teams, making sure to keep everything organized.
It was a bit tedious, copying and pasting all those numbers, but hey, that’s part of the process. I made a simple spreadsheet to keep track of everything. Nothing fancy, just columns for the player names and their stats.
Analyzing stats
- Found some interesting stuff.
- Checked every players batting average.
- Made some notes on key player performance.
Wrapping Up
After I had all the stats recorded, I spent some time looking for any interesting patterns or standout *’s always cool to see how these head-to-head matchups play out on paper.
Overall, it was a fun little data dive. I got to geek out on baseball stats, and I have a nice little record of how the Nationals and Guardians players did against each other. Maybe I’ll make this a regular thing and track these stats over the whole season!
