Okay, so I’ve been trying to get better at predicting soccer matches, and I decided to focus on the Necaxa vs. Puebla game. It’s a learning process, for sure!

First, I looked up both teams’ recent performance. How many games have they won, lost, or drawn lately? I figured this would give me a basic idea of their current form. I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through match results.
Then, I tried to find information on injuries or suspensions. You know, are any key players missing? That could really impact the game. This part was a bit trickier, had to dig through some news articles and fan forums.
Head-to-Head History
- I also checked out their head-to-head record. Have these teams played each other a lot before? Who usually wins when they meet? It felt like being a detective, piecing together clues.
Next, I considered the teams’ playing styles. Are they offensive or defensive? Do they score a lot of goals, or are they more about keeping a clean sheet? I’m still not great at figuring this out, but I’m working on it.
Finally, I made my prediction! It wasn’t anything fancy, just a simple guess based on what I’d found. No complicated formulas or anything, haha.
I wrote down my prediction and the reasoning behind it. It’s important to keep track of these things so I can see if I’m improving, and maybe understand the errors. After all, I am sharing my journey, ups and downs and all.

After the match, I went back and compared my prediction to the actual result. Did I get it right? If not, what did I miss? Where exacly I made the mistake, and why I thougt in that way.
It’s a slow process, but I’m hoping that by consistently analyzing these matches, I’ll start to see patterns and get a better feel for the game. It’s all about practice, right?
