Okay, so today I messed around with “Ogden Phipps II.” Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I’d heard some buzz about it, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out what this thing actually was. I did some digging, you know, the usual poking around online. Turns out, it’s, well I’m still not entirly clear if I am being honest! It is a name with some history, and a name of a few different people, so I decided to look at the art collection from Ogden Phipps II.
The Process
I started with a bit of confusion, to be frank. I mean, I looked at a lot of art. I wanted to understand it’s history, so I went down the rabbit hole. I:
- Explored the different peices of art.
- Considered the diffent styles and artists.
- Compared some of the more famous peices to the lesser known ones.
It was a lot of back and forth, trying to find the perfect piece to focus on. I realized the history of this collection is vast.
The Results
So, did I become an expert on Ogden Phipps II’s art? Maybe not. But I feel like I got a small peek into what his name and collection is about, I can say I understand a little more than I did yesterday!
It was definitely an experience. I wouldn’t say I’m a total convert, but I can see why people are into it. Would I do it again? Maybe. It’s not every day you get to dive into something this random!
