I was looking into the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team the other day. They have such a rich history, and I thought it’d be fun to check out their current team situation, so I started to search their depth chart.
First, I did a bit of browsing to get a feel for the team’s legacy. Did you know they’ve had 112 players drafted into the NFL since 1936? That’s crazy! And of course, who could forget Barry Sanders? That guy was a legend, retiring from the Detroit Lions in ’99 as one of the greatest running backs ever. He came from Oklahoma State, which made me even more curious about the team.
Then I went straight for the 2024 depth chart. I wanted to see who their key players are now. And I found a guy named Alan Bowman, who’s apparently their starting quarterback, going into what they joke as his “19th grade.” I guess he’s been around the block! I also noticed a local guy, Josh Ford, a tight end from Stillwater. Always cool to see homegrown talent.
- Researched the team history.
- Looked up the 2024 depth chart.
- Identified key players like Alan Bowman and Josh Ford.
I wanted to dig a little deeper, so I started looking at both the offensive and defensive positions to see who the projected starters are. Found some interesting names and their positions. It’s cool to see how the team is shaping up for the next season, all those fresh faces mixed in with seasoned players.
One thing that really got my attention was learning about Ollie Gordon II, He is the guy who is making a run at the Heisman Trophy. This dude was named the Doak Walker Award winner, unanimous All-America honors, and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. He even got more Heisman votes than any other running back in 2023! This is one player I’ll definitely be watching.
Finding all these details about the Oklahoma State Cowboys was a blast.
It’s always fun to get into the nitty-gritty of a team’s roster and see who’s who. I enjoy seeing how a team evolves from year to year. This whole process made me even more excited for the upcoming season. Go Cowboys!
