Okay, folks, let’s dive into how I finally figured out playing co-op in MLB The Show 24. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought, so hopefully, this saves you some time.

First, I booted up the game, obviously. From the main menu, I spent a good few minutes just poking around, looking for something that clearly said “co-op.” Nothing. I figured it might be hiding in one of the modes, so I started checking those out.
I jumped into “Diamond Dynasty” first, thinking that’s where the online action would be. Nope. Struck out there. Then I checked “Franchise” mode, thinking maybe I could set up a team with a buddy. Still no dice.
Finally, I went back to the main menu and noticed a little icon in the top right corner – my profile! I clicked on that, and bam! There it was, a “Play with Friends” option.
How To set up
- Click your profile icon (top right of the main screen).
- select “Freinds”
- Choose “Play with Friends.”
- From there, you can invite your buddies to your squad.
- Select the co-op mode you want to play (2v2 or 3v3).
Once I invited my friend, we had to decide if we wanted to do 2v2 or 3v3. We opted for 2v2 to start, just to keep things simple. Then, you pick your teams, and you’re good to go!
It’s a bit hidden, I gotta say. But once you find it, it’s pretty easy to get a game going. The actual gameplay is a blast – way more fun playing with a friend than just solo. It’s all about good communication.
