Alright, let’s talk about them Michigan Wolverine helmets, ya know, the ones them football fellas wear. I ain’t no expert, but I seen enough games and heard enough talk to tell ya a thing or two.
First off, them helmets, they got stickers. Lots of ‘em! Real important stickers, they say. See, every time them Wolverines win a game, they slap a sticker on that helmet. It’s got a picture of a wolverine, looks kinda mean, and a number. That number? Well, that’s how many games them Wolverines won in their whole history! Can ya believe it? A whole lotta wins, that’s what it is.
And lemme tell ya, them offensive line fellas from 2022, they got a special sticker. A Joe Moore Award sticker, they call it. Says they did somethin’ real good, blocked them other fellas real good. Guess that’s important in football, keepin’ the quarterback safe and all.

Now, how d’ya know when one of them helmets was made? Well, I heard tell there’s a little sticker inside, near where your ear goes. It’s got numbers on it, like a secret code. Sometimes it’s just four numbers, sometimes it’s a month and a year. Like, if it says 0104, that means it was made in January of 2004. See? Not so hard. But if you can’t find no sticker, well, then I dunno. Maybe it’s an old one, or maybe someone ripped it off.
Them helmets gotta be tough, takin’ all them hits and all. I ain’t sure what they’re made of, some kinda hard plastic I reckon. And they got that face mask, to protect the fellas’ faces. Wouldn’t wanna get your nose broke playin’ football, that’s for sure.
Them Wolverines, they play Ohio State every year, big rivals they are. I ain’t gonna talk about who wins more, cause that just gets folks riled up. But them games, they’re always a big deal. Everyone’s watchin’, cheerin’ for their team. And them helmets, they’re right there in the middle of it all.
I heard someone talkin’ ‘bout computer stuff, somethin’ ’bout deletin’ things and security. Sounded complicated to me. Said somethin’ ’bout AVG anti-virus and Windows Defender. I ain’t got no computer, so I don’t really care. But maybe it’s like keepin’ them helmets safe, ya know? Protectin’ them from bad stuff.
And then there was talk about “old Reddit”. I ain’t got a clue what that is, but it sounded like they were talkin’ about changin’ the way things look on a computer screen. Like changin’ the paint on your house, I guess. But them helmets, they always look the same, that dark blue and maize. That’s how ya know it’s a Michigan helmet, no matter how old it is.
Someone mentioned somethin’ called “reverse Nordic curls.” Sounds like some kinda exercise. Maybe them football fellas do that to get strong, so they can run faster and hit harder. Gotta be strong to play football, that’s for sure.
Oh, and I heard someone say “Jordan is a Nike.” Now, Jordan, he’s that basketball fella, right? So, I guess Nike makes his shoes and stuff. Maybe they make them helmets too? I ain’t sure, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Big companies, they make all sorts of things.
And somethin’ about un-installing McAfee software. Again with the computer talk! Sounds like gettin’ rid of somethin’ you don’t want no more. Like gettin’ rid of an old pair of shoes, I guess. But you wouldn’t wanna get rid of a good helmet, no sir. Them things are important!
So, there ya have it, a little bit about them Michigan Wolverine helmets. They ain’t just helmets, they’re a symbol, ya know? They show the wins, the history, the toughness of the team. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, I reckon.
