Alright, let me tell you about this whole thing with Meidra in Remnant 2. I jumped into the game, not really knowing what to expect, just ready to shoot some stuff and explore, you know? So, I’m cruising through this place called Yaesha, which is like a big, overgrown forest area, and I stumble upon this clearing, the Dappled Glade. There’s this, uh, spirit or whatever named Meidra.
She starts hitting me with these questions, one after another. I’m thinking, “What’s going on? Is this a quiz?” Turns out, she’s got a total of 25 questions, but she only asks you 5 each time. It’s like, she’s trying to figure out what kind of person you are, or something.
Here’s where it gets tricky:
- Each question has two answers.
- You gotta pick one, and apparently, it tells her something about you.
I went through it, answering as honestly as I could. Sometimes the questions were kinda deep, like, what would you do in this crazy situation or that. Other times, they were just weird. I mean, who thinks about this stuff? I was just trying to play a game, and suddenly I’m in a therapy session. I even went back a couple of times to see if different answers would change anything.
The Ending
So, after you get through her little quiz, she gives you one of two things: either the Doe’s Eyes or the Ravager’s Eyes. It all depends on how you answered. It’s kinda cool, I guess, that your choices actually matter in the game. I ended up with the Doe’s Eyes on my first run. It was totally unexpected. I read it up online afterwards, but I was totally confused and couldn’t figure out the principle. Just give it a try. I think it depends on your choice when you answer the question.
Anyway, that’s my story about Meidra and her questions in Remnant 2. It’s a wild ride, and it definitely makes you think a bit, which is more than I can say for most games out there.
