Alright, so I wanted to mess around with Sebastian Shaw in Marvel Snap, and I gotta tell you, it was a bit of a journey. Here’s how it went down.

Building the Deck
First, I had to figure out what kind of deck to even put him in. I knew he got buffed when he got power, so I started thinking about cards that could consistently do that.
- Forge: Seemed like a no-brainer. Gives a nice +2 power boost.
- Okoye: She pumps up everyone in your deck, so that’s more power for Shaw later.
- Nakia: Same idea as Okoye, but just for the cards in your hand.
- Silver Surfer: I threw him in because I figured with Shaw being a 3-cost, Surfer could give him a final boost.
Then, I just added some other cards that seemed useful. Like, I put in Ironheart, because she can sometimes hit Shaw. And Wolfsbane, for the same reason.
The Games
So, my first few games, I totally messed up. I kept forgetting Shaw only gets buffed while he’s on the board. So, playing Forge before Shaw was a complete waste. Big rookie mistake!
Once I got the hang of it, it started to click a little better. Getting Shaw down, then Forging him, then maybe hitting him with another buff… that felt pretty good. He could get surprisingly big!
I also tried using Valkyrie to *’s cool.

The Verdict
Honestly, Shaw’s not the easiest card to use. You gotta plan your turns carefully. And sometimes, you just don’t draw the cards you need to buff him up. He can be a bit inconsistent. It is super fun when he pops off, though. Seeing him grow to like, 10+ power? Satisfying. It is also need to be carefull to those cards like Shang-Chi or Shadow King.I’ll probably keep messing around with him, trying out different combos. I think there’s some real potential there, it just takes some practice.
