Okay, so “Shadow Over Ban Pa 2” – sounds spooky, right? I figured I’d give it a shot, see what all the fuss was about. I’d heard some whispers online, mostly just that it was, you know, weird. That was enough to get me interested.
First thing I did was, obviously, I got the game. I’m not gonna tell you where I get games and I don’t tell any of you. That was easy enough. Booted it up, and…man, the menu music alone was enough to give me chills. Super low, droning stuff. Creepy.
Diving In
The game itself starts you off in this, like, deserted village. Ban Pa, I guess? Everything’s all gray and washed out, and there’s this constant fog hanging around. I started poking around, checking out the houses. Most of them were empty, just some broken furniture and cobwebs. Standard horror game stuff, you know?
Then I found this one house that was a little different. There was a note inside, all scribbled in some language I didn’t recognize. I took a screenshot of it, figured I might try to translate it later. Maybe it’s important, maybe it’s just flavor text. Who knows?
- Explored the empty village.
- Found a creepy note.
- Started getting that “I’m not alone” feeling.
Getting Spooked
The real kicker came when I went into the forest outside the village. The fog got even thicker, and I started hearing these…whispers. Couldn’t make out any words, but it was definitely voices. I kept pushing forward, because, hey, that’s what you do in a horror game, right? You walk towards the scary noises.
And then I saw it. This…thing. I can’t even really describe it. It was tall, and dark, and it just kind of…glided through the trees. I froze. Didn’t even try to run. It didn’t seem to notice me, though. It just kept moving, disappearing into the fog.
So Far, So Creepy
That’s where I stopped for the night. I’m not gonna lie, that thing freaked me out. I’m definitely going to keep playing, though. I gotta know what’s going on in this place. I’ll keep you guys updated on my progress. Let me know if you’ve played it, and if you have any tips – but no spoilers, okay?
