Today, I messed around with something totally new – trying to get “star power” on barley. It’s not as crazy as it sounds, but it was a bit of a wild ride. Let me tell you how it all went down.

The Idea Hit Me
I was looking at some brewing stuff, and I got this goofy idea. Could I somehow make barley look… sparkly? Don’t ask me why, I just like shiny things. So I figured I’d try to make it happen.
Gathering My Supplies
First things first, I needed some barley. Luckily, I had a bag of regular, plain barley sitting *,I got some ideas:
- Edible glitter: Obvious, right?
- Some kind of sticky stuff:I figure something to make the glitter actually stick.
The Messy Part
First, I tried is using honey. I drizzled a little bit of honey onto a small pile of barley. I figured, hey, it’s sticky and it’s edible. Then i use a small spoon to roll the barley and make honey equally stick on the barley.
Then comes the fun part – the glitter! I grabbed my container of edible glitter – a nice, silvery one – and sprinkled it liberally over the honey-coated barley. I used my fingers to kind of press the glitter in, hoping it would stick well.
The Final Result
Okay, so, it wasn’t exactly “star power” like a superhero, but it was definitely… sparkly barley. The honey worked pretty well, and the glitter mostly stayed put. I’m sure you are curious about what i gonna use it *,I just want to decorate my *

It was a fun little experiment. Maybe not the most practical thing I’ve ever done, but hey, it made me smile. And that’s worth something, right?
