Man, figuring out if Scadutree Fragments carry over into New Game (NG) in Elden Ring was a whole thing. I really dove deep into this one, ’cause who wants to collect all that stuff again, right?
First, I scoured the internet, looking at every forum and wiki I could find. A lot of people were saying different things, which made it super confusing. Some folks were sure they carried over, others were saying no way. So, I decided to jump in and test it out myself.
I started a new character and grabbed every Scadutree Fragment I could find in the starting area. I made sure to use them to level up my Scadutree Blessing too, just to see how that would play out. It’s a real grind, but gotta do what you gotta do for science, you know?
- Tracked down a bunch of fragments, used them all.
- Checked my stats before and after using the fragments.
- Made notes on where I found each one, in case I needed to retrace my steps.
After getting a decent number of fragments and boosting my character, I finished the game and headed into NG+. Guess what? The Scadutree Fragments DO carry over! All that hard work paid off, and I didn’t have to start from scratch.
But here’s a little tip: they don’t affect the base game areas, only the DLC. So, don’t expect to be overpowered when you first start NG+. They are super helpful in NG+ though, so you don’t have to go hunting for them all over again if you don’t want to. It’s a relief, to be honest, ’cause collecting them all the first time is a real chore.
So yeah, that’s the lowdown on Scadutree Fragments and NG+. It took a lot of playing and testing, but I’m glad I could figure it out and share it. Hope this helps some of you out there!
