Okay, so yesterday I was messing around in the practice tool, trying to figure out which champs really slap with Statikk Shiv. I’d seen some folks online saying it’s busted on certain characters, and I wanted to see for myself.

First off, I hopped into a game with Miss Fortune. I mean, she’s always been a decent Shiv user in the past, right? I built a pretty standard ADC build – Kraken Slayer first, then Shiv, then IE. I gotta say, the wave clear was insane. Like, I could just Q a wave and it would basically disappear. The extra burst damage on her autos felt pretty good too, especially in lane when poking the enemy ADC. I was able to shove lanes really fast and roam to help my jungler. It wasn’t a game-changer, but def a solid choice.
Next, I tried Yasuo. I know, I know, everyone hates Yasuo. But hear me out. The Shiv actually felt pretty good on him. The extra magic damage procs on the Shiv helped with getting his passive shield down, and the attack speed let me stack up those knock-ups super quick. I built Shieldbow, then Shiv, then IE. I was diving towers and just melting people. It’s kinda cheesy, but it’s definitely viable.
After that, I went with Ashe. I was thinking the Shiv procs would slow down enemies and make it easier to kite. I went for a Kraken Slayer build, Shiv, then Runaan’s Hurricane. It wasn’t as amazing as I thought it would be. Sure, the wave clear was decent, but Ashe really needs damage to scale well. The Shiv just didn’t provide enough raw power for me to be as effective in teamfights. So, Ashe is a pass, I’d say.
Then I got a wild idea, let’s try Tryndamere. I know, not your typical Shiv user, but the attack speed seemed promising for fury generation and split pushing. I build Kraken Slayer first and then into the Shiv. He felt pretty strong with it split pushing and was able to shove lanes really fast. I think this might be a sleeper pick for Tryndamere.
Lastly, I gave it a go on Twisted Fate. I mean, he’s all about that burst damage with his W, right? I built Lich Bane first, then Shiv. The idea was to one-shot people with a W+Q+Shiv combo. Honestly? It was hilarious. I was deleting squishies left and right. The Shiv’s magic damage scaling with AP just amplified his burst potential. Definitely a fun build if you’re looking to tilt some enemies.

Overall:
- Miss Fortune: Decent, good wave clear and poke.
- Yasuo: Surprisingly good, cheesy but viable.
- Ashe: Not great, needs more raw damage.
- Tryndamere: Interesting, split pushing power.
- Twisted Fate: Hilariously fun, one-shot potential.
So yeah, that’s my experience with Statikk Shiv so far. Some champs benefit a lot, some don’t. Go give it a shot yourself and see what works for you! GG.
