Okay, so, I was messing around with this crossword puzzle today, the one with “bulwark” as a clue. It was a real head-scratcher at first. I mean, “bulwark,” what even is that, right?
I started by trying to fill in the easier clues around it, hoping to get some letters to work with. Then, I remembered someone told me once, “Try shuffling the board. You can rearrange the placement of the words.” That sounded like a good plan, so I gave it a shot. I played with the board, moving words around, trying to see if anything would click.

But this one site had a pack of tutorial puzzles. You know, to help you learn how these cryptic crosswords work. They had this one definition that was pretty much the whole clue, and they mentioned it could be something like “rampart.”
After some more digging and playing around with the puzzle, I finally got it. It’s all about trying different things, using the hints around the word, and not being afraid to look stuff up if you get stuck. That’s how I cracked the “bulwark” code, anyway. And man, it felt good to finally get it!
