Okay, so I wanted to play around with this “There Will Come Soft Rains” thing in Genshin Impact. I’d seen some videos about it and it looked pretty cool, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
First, I had to actually get to the right spot. It’s in that new area, you know, the one that just came out. I teleported to the nearest waypoint and started exploring. Man, this place is huge! I spent a good while just wandering around, getting lost, fighting some random Hilichurls, the usual.
Eventually, I stumbled upon the place where the quest, or whatever it is, starts. There’s this weird machine thing, and you gotta activate it. Naturally, I clicked all the buttons. You know, just to see what would happen. Spoiler alert: nothing much at first.
- Then, I figured out you gotta collect these glowing orbs. They’re scattered around the area, so I started running around like a headless chicken, grabbing them.
- Some of them are easy to find, just sitting there. Others are hidden behind puzzles, or you gotta fight some monsters to get to them.
- I’m not gonna lie, some of those puzzles were a pain. I spent way too long trying to figure them out. I even considered looking up a guide, but I’m stubborn, so I kept at it.
After what felt like forever, I finally collected all the orbs. I put them back in the machine thingy, and BAM! A cutscene starts. It was pretty epic, not gonna lie. Lots of swirling lights and dramatic music. Made all that running around feel worth it.
After the cutscene, there’s another puzzle. This one was a bit easier, thank goodness. Just had to move some platforms around and jump across them. I only fell a couple of times, which is pretty good for me.
Finally, The Achievement
And that was it! I got the “There Will Come Soft Rains” achievement. It was a fun little adventure, even if it was a bit frustrating at times. Definitely something different to do in the game. If you’re bored and looking for something to do in Genshin, I’d say give it a try. Just be prepared to run around a lot and maybe get a little lost.
