Okay, so today I was looking into this NFL ball carriers thing. I gotta tell you, it was quite a ride. First, I started by just poking around online, trying to get a general sense of who’s who in this area. You know, just your basic search stuff, nothing fancy.
Then I dove into some of the major sports websites. I checked out what they had on the 2024 NFL Regular Season. They usually list out all these stats like who’s leading in rushing yards, who’s got the most touchdowns, and stuff like that. It’s pretty cool to see all those numbers and how players stack up against each other.
- I found this one site that had a whole bunch of info on different players. Like, they had Saquon Barkley from the Philadelphia Eagles at the top, then Derrick Henry from the Baltimore Ravens, and Kyren Williams from the LA Rams. I saw a whole list of 51 players, which was a bit overwhelming, to be honest.
- There was another website that had stat leaders for pretty much every category you could think of. Passing, rushing, tackles, interceptions, you name it. They even had stats by team, which is useful if you’re into that kind of thing.
- Then I stumbled upon this other site that had player rankings. You could see who was leading in passing yards, passer rating, rushing yards, receiving yards, all that good stuff. It’s kinda interesting to see how these rankings change over the season.
I also read up on some metrics they use to measure performance. I looked at something about pass-game metrics and run-game metrics. They had this leaderboard for 2023, which was updated through Week 16, or something like that. It’s kind of a lot to take in, but it gives you a better idea of how they evaluate players.
Oh, and I also found this list of the top 5 fastest ball carriers for Week 6. It’s always fun to see who’s the quickest on the field.
Diving into History and Records
Then I got a bit sidetracked and started looking into some historical records. Like, did you know Eric Dickerson ran for over 2,000 yards in a single season back in 1984? That’s insane! He was with the Los Angeles Rams then. And I saw that James Cook became the leader in rush touchdowns for 2024 with 15. And I saw that Saquon Barkley has the most rushing yards in two seasons between 2025. That’s a lot of running!
So yeah, that’s pretty much what I did today. I just bounced around, reading stuff, checking out different websites, and trying to piece it all together. It’s not like I’m an expert now or anything, but I definitely know a bit more about NFL ball carriers than I did this morning. And honestly, it was kinda fun to dig into it all.
