Okay, so the other day I was watching some NFL highlights, and Tyreek Hill just blew past everyone like usual. It got me thinking, “Where did this guy even go to college?” I mean, you don’t see that kind of speed every day.

So, I started digging. First, I just did a quick search. And wow, it’s not a simple answer.
The Winding Road of Tyreek Hill’s College Career
It turns out, this dude didn’t just go to one school. He bounced around a bit.
- Garden City Community College: This is where he started, apparently. I looked it up, and yeah, he played football and ran track there in 2012 and 2013. I watched some old footage. Dude was already a beast!
Then, things got a little interesting.
- Oklahoma State University:He transferred here in 2014. I found some articles about it, and it seemed like a big deal at the time. He was a running back, wide receiver, and return specialist—basically, he did it all.
But his time at Oklahoma State was cut short. There was some serious off-field trouble, domestic issues, and he was dismissed from the team. Stuff I won’t get into here.
Finally found his last stop.

- University of West Alabama: This is where he ended up in 2015. He was a “do-it-all” player at this small D2 school. He played running back, receiver, and punt returner.
I realized how impressive it is to excel at so many different positions, and it shows how dedicated he was to the sport, it gave him that grit to make it to the NFL.
