My Journey Finding Out About Lauren Shehadi
So, I was flipping through channels the other day, landed on some sports network, I think it was MLB Network. They were doing highlights or maybe a studio show, you know the drill. There was this host, and I kept thinking, “I’ve seen her before, but who is she?” It started to bug me a little bit.

I actually grabbed my phone right then. Tried to catch her name when they introduced the segments, but you know how fast they talk sometimes. Missed it the first time. Then I got distracted by a play they were showing. Typical.
Figuring It Out
After the show segment ended, I decided to actually look it up. Didn’t have much to go on. I just typed something like “MLB network female host” into the search bar. Had to scroll through a few pages, looked at some pictures. Took a few minutes, clicking around.
Eventually, bingo. Found a picture that matched. The name was Lauren Shehadi. “Ah, right,” I thought. That sounded familiar once I saw it written down. Felt a bit silly for not remembering it.
Watching Her Work
Once I knew the name, I got a bit curious. Like, what else has she done? So I spent a little more time searching.

- Saw she’d been with MLB Network for ages.
- Remembered seeing her during some baseball playoff coverage on TBS or TNT too, working with those guys like Pedro Martinez.
- Read she did some podcast stuff as well.
It wasn’t like some major research project, more like satisfying a bit of curiosity. Since then, I’ve found myself noticing her more when she’s on TV. Started paying a bit more attention to how she hosts.
What I Noticed
She seems pretty smooth, keeps the conversation flowing between the analysts. Doesn’t stumble over words much. Handles the transitions well. You can tell she knows her stuff, or at least she does the homework to sound like she does, which is part of the job, right? Seems pretty comfortable just doing her thing on camera.
So yeah, that was my little journey of figuring out who Lauren Shehadi was. Started from just casually watching TV and ended up learning a bit about another person doing their job in the sports media world. Now she’s just one of those familiar faces you see regularly when you’re watching games or studio shows.
