Okay, so today I wanted to try out that “Pillar Prize Tour” thing in Monopoly GO. I heard it started on April 8, 2024, and I was like, “Why not?” Sounds fun, right? Plus, there were supposed to be a bunch of rewards, and who doesn’t like free stuff?
First off, I logged into the game. You know, the usual tapping on the icon and waiting for it to load. Once I was in, I looked around for the event banner. It wasn’t hard to find—big and flashy, just like they always do with these things.
I clicked on the banner, and it showed me all these milestones. 48 of them! I was like, “Okay, that’s a lot.” But then I saw the rewards—Cash, Sticker Packs, and Dice Rolls. It got me pumped. I mean, I love collecting those stickers, and the extra dice rolls are always handy.
So, I started playing. I rolled the dice, moved around the board, you know, the basic stuff. Every time I completed a task or landed on a certain spot, I got points towards the milestones. It was pretty easy at first. I breezed through the first few milestones, grabbing some Cash and a couple of Sticker Packs. Nice!
- First Milestone: Got some Cash. Easy peasy.
- Second Milestone: Snagged a Sticker Pack. Cool, cool.
- Fifth Milestone: More Cash and some Dice Rolls. Feeling good!
As I kept playing, it got a bit tougher. The milestones required more points, but the rewards also got better. I landed on some special tiles that gave me bonus points, which was super helpful. I even managed to complete a set of properties, which boosted my points even more.
I played for a good while, maybe a couple of hours. It was kind of addicting, to be honest. I kept telling myself, “Just one more milestone,” but then I’d see the next reward and keep going.
The Results
By the time I decided to take a break, I had reached milestone 20-something. Not bad, I guess. I collected a decent amount of Cash, a few Sticker Packs, and a good number of Dice Rolls. I didn’t get to the end, but hey, there’s always tomorrow.
Overall, it was a fun experience. I enjoyed the thrill of working towards those milestones and getting rewarded for it. It’s a good way to keep players engaged, I gotta say.
