My Jace Henry Experiment
So, I kept hearing about this ‘jace henry’ thing. People were talking it up, you know? Sounded like some new way to get stuff done, maybe streamline the process. I figured, okay, why not? Let’s give it a try. Can’t hurt, right? Decided to test it on a side project first, didn’t want to mess up my main work.

Getting Started
Alright, so I jumped in. First thing, I tried to follow the steps people laid out. It felt a bit awkward from the get-go. Felt like I was forcing it. Here’s kinda what I did:
- Read the few guides I could find online.
- Tried setting up my workspace the ‘jace henry’ way.
- Attempted the core routine for about a week.
- Kept a log of how it felt and what happened.
Honestly, it felt clunky. The setup took longer than expected. And the routine itself? Didn’t feel natural at all. I kept thinking, am I doing this right? The instructions were kinda vague.
Hitting Walls
Pretty quickly, things got annoying. The ‘jace henry’ approach promised simplicity, but man, it felt like it added extra steps. I remember trying to integrate it with the tools I already use, and it was like fitting a square peg in a round hole. Total pain. I spent more time trying to make the system work than actually doing the work.
I even reached out to a couple of folks online who supposedly used it. Got mixed replies. One guy said it worked wonders, but couldn’t really explain how clearly. Another admitted they tweaked it so much it barely resembled the original ‘jace henry’ idea. That told me a lot. It felt like one of those things that sounds cool in theory but falls apart in practice, at least for me.

The Outcome
After about three weeks of wrestling with it, I pulled the plug. Just wasn’t worth the headache. I went back to my old methods, maybe kept one tiny organisational idea I picked up, but that’s it. Most of the ‘jace henry’ stuff? Ditched it.
So yeah, that was my practice run with ‘jace henry’. A good reminder that not every hyped-up method works for everyone. Sometimes the tried-and-true ways are best. Glad I logged it though, helps me remember what I tried and why it didn’t stick. Just wasn’t a fit for how my brain works, I guess.
