Hey everyone, so I got into this whole Corbin Carroll thing the other day. You know, the baseball player? I was watching a game and just got curious about the guy. So, first thing I did was try to find out about his background, like, where’s he from and all that.
I started with the basics, you know, just Googling his name. And I found out his full name is Corbin Franklin Carroll and he was born in Seattle, Washington. It’s funny, the stuff you can find online these days!
Then, I got more interested in his family and roots. So I dug a little deeper, and it turns out his dad is Irish-American, Brant Carroll, and his mom, Pey-Lin Carroll, was born in Taiwan. She moved to the US when she was four, isn’t that interesting? They all lived in this Asian-American neighborhood in Seattle. Oh, and he’s got a younger sister too, she’s a soccer player. They grew up together in Seattle.
I also found out about where he went to high school. He was at Cicero – North Syracuse High School. But get this, he didn’t even pitch for his high school’s baseball team until his junior year! Can you believe that? After high school, he played college baseball at a couple of places, Mohawk Valley Community College and Chipola College. So he really worked his way up.
And about his mom’s side of the family, I read that he actually visited them in Taiwan once when he was around 13. It must have been a great experience for him to see his family’s heritage like that.
- Looked up his full name and birthplace: Corbin Franklin Carroll, born in Seattle.

So yeah, that’s what I found out about Corbin Carroll’s nationality and background. It’s pretty cool to see how diverse his roots are and how he’s become such a great player. It’s always fun to dig into these things and learn something new, right?
