Okay, so, I settled in for another Friday night, you know, the usual routine. Got my snacks, got my drink, and flipped on the TV for some SmackDown action. I’ve been following it for a while now, and tonight’s lineup seemed pretty stacked.
First off, they teased this face-off between Nia Jax and Liv Morgan. Those two have been at each other’s throats lately, and I was curious to see what would happen before their big match this weekend. There were some other big names on the card too, like Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Bianca Belair, so I knew it wasn’t a night to miss.
- Had Nia Jax and Liv Morgan face-to-face
- Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens’ third meeting
- LA Knight and Apollo Crews suffered a brutal beating last week
Then there was this whole thing about Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens meeting for a third time. Apparently, the SmackDown general manager, Nick Aldis, granted Cody’s request for a ladder match at the Royal Rumble. That’s gonna be wild! Ladder matches are always insane, and with these two involved, it’s bound to be a classic.
They also mentioned something about LA Knight and Apollo Crews. It sounded like they got beat down pretty bad by The Bloodline last week. Poor guys, I hope they were okay, I kinda felt for them. But hey, that’s the world of wrestling, right? One minute you’re on top, the next you’re getting laid out.
So, I watched the whole two-hour show, live as it happened. It aired on USA Network, 8 PM ET, just like always. I used to watch it on the WWE Network, but that shut down in the US a while back, in 2021 I think it was. It was a bit of a bummer at the time, but USA Network is pretty easy to come by.
My Thoughts
Anyway, the show was a blast. Lots of action, some good promos, and it definitely got me hyped for the weekend’s pay-per-view. I’m not gonna spoil anything, but let’s just say things got pretty heated between Nia and Liv, haha. And that ladder match between Cody and Kevin? Man, you gotta see it to believe it. Overall, it was a solid night of wrestling, and I can’t wait to see what happens next week. It kept me engaged.
