Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out when this WWE King of the Ring thing is happening. You know, the 2024 one? It’s been a bit of a headache, but I think I’ve finally got it sorted. I just wanted to share what I found out, just in case anyone else is as confused as I was.
So, first off, I went on a wild goose chase across the internet. I checked all the usual spots, you know, official WWE stuff and some other fan sites. I found a bunch of different times, and it was a mess. Some said one thing, others said another, and I just ended up more confused.
I started digging through the details. Some mentioned this “local time” thing, which I figured was probably in Saudi Arabia since that’s where the event is, right? Then there was this “ET,” “PT,” and “GMT” stuff. I had to look those up to remind myself what they meant. Eastern Time, Pacific Time, Greenwich Mean Time. Jeez, time zones are a pain.
After a while, it started to click. I saw a pattern. Most sources seemed to agree that the main event starts at 8 PM in Saudi Arabia. And then, using a time zone converter I found online, I figured out that that’s 1 PM Eastern Time, 10 AM Pacific Time, and 5 PM Greenwich Mean Time.
But then, wait for it, I stumbled upon something about a pre-show. Apparently, that’s supposed to kick off an hour earlier, at 12 PM Eastern Time. So that’s 9 AM Pacific Time and 4 PM GMT, for anyone keeping score.
Here’s What I Learned
- The actual date: Saturday, May 25th.
- Pre-show start:
- 12 PM Eastern Time.
- 9 AM Pacific Time.
- 4 PM Greenwich Mean Time.
- Main event start:
- 1 PM Eastern Time.
- 10 AM Pacific Time.
- 5 PM Greenwich Mean Time.
And apparently, it’s happening in Jeddah. I also heard something about “Crown Jewel 2024” being on Saturday, but I’m not sure how that fits in. Maybe it’s another part of the same event? I’m not totally sure.
Finally, I think I figured out how to actually watch the thing. It sounds like it’s going to be streamed on something called “Peacock.” I don’t have that, so I’ll have to look into it. But at least I know when to tune in now!
So, there you have it. My little adventure in figuring out the King of the Ring start time. Hopefully, this helps someone else out there. It wasn’t easy, but I got there in the end. I’m planning on watching it. I will prepare for it.
In addition, I found that there will be the Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals, and it features Lyra Valkyria from Raw.
