Alright, so today I messed around with something called “mesh crossword”. Sounds complicated, right? But it wasn’t that bad, actually. I mean, I love a good crossword, but this “mesh” part had me scratching my head at first.
So, I started by just looking for a simple crossword app. I bumped into this one called “Crosswords Free” from Redstone Games. It seemed pretty popular, and they had puzzles from super easy to pretty tough. I installed it and played a few rounds, and it was your basic crossword thing. Nothing fancy, but it kept me entertained for a bit.
Then I thought, “What if I try to make my own?” I hit up the app store again and searched for crossword puzzle makers. There were a bunch, but I didn’t really download any. I just wanted to see what was out there. You know, get a feel for the options.
After that, I remembered seeing something about “mesh” being a clue in crossword puzzles. Apparently, it’s been used like 20 times or something. Seemed like a common word. I guess that’s where the “mesh” part of the title came from. I didn’t really do anything with this info, just filed it away in my brain. Maybe it’ll come in handy one day.
Later, I stumbled upon this website, it was something about “BestCrosswords”. They claimed to have tons of free crossword puzzles, like a hundred thousand or something. They said you could play them on your phone, tablet, or even print them out. I played a few on my phone, and yeah, they were alright. It was cool that they had so many, I guess.
Here’s what I did today:
- Tried out the “Crosswords Free” app.
- Browsed some crossword maker apps.
- Learned that “mesh” is a common crossword clue.
- Played a few puzzles on that website.
So, that’s basically it. I didn’t really create anything mind-blowing today, but it was fun to explore the world of crosswords a bit. It is definitely a time killer, and I enjoyed it. Maybe I’ll try making my own puzzle one day, who knows?
My Thoughts
It was a simple experiment but a whole lot of fun for me. You might wanna try some of these apps if you are into these kinds of word puzzles.
