Okay, so I wanted to figure out the best place to sit at Neyland Stadium for a game. I’m a huge Vols fan, but I haven’t been to a ton of games, and I really wanted to make sure I got a good view this time.

First, I started by just Googling around. I typed in things like “best seats Neyland Stadium” and “Neyland Stadium seating chart.” I found some basic info, but nothing really specific, you know?
My Research Process
- I looked at the official stadium website. It had a seating chart, of course, but it was kinda hard to tell what the actual view would be like from different sections.
- Then, I checked out some fan forums. I figured people who go to games all the time would have the best insights. There were some good tips, but a lot of it was just people arguing about their favorite sections.
- I even tried to find some pictures or videos online that people had taken from different seats. That helped a little, but it was still hard to get a good sense of the overall experience.
After I did the preliminary search, I decided to call up my buddy who’s a season ticket holder. Figured I talk to someone I actually know.
He told me that the lower level sideline seats are obviously great, but super expensive. He also said that the upper deck can be surprisingly good, as long as you’re not too far back. He recommended staying below row 20 in the upper deck if I could.
He also gave a good suggestion to avoid the student * a family we don’t prefer that.

Armed with his advice, I went back to the ticket websites and started comparing prices and availability. I ended up finding some seats in the lower level, a bit towards the corner, but still with a pretty good view of the field. They weren’t cheap, but I figured it was worth it for a good experience.
So, yeah, that’s how I figured out where to sit at Neyland Stadium. It took a little bit of research and some asking around, but I think I made a pretty good choice! Go Vols!
